Thank you so much for helping me build this community, teaching new stitchers and spreading the joy to all! I adore what I do and I'm so grateful for you all. I was so excited this week to find out that we had been shortlisted in a variety of categories for the Best of Craft Awards 2020!
If you're not sharing your cross stitch WIPs (works in progress) over on Instagram, where have you been?! Insta is the place to be these days for craft lovers alike where you can find a huge selection of stitching inspiration, connections and beautiful work to drool over.
So you remember back in October 2018 when I was asking for your votes in the British Craft Awards? We only went and WON! Stitch Designer of the Year 2019 - I'm still coming back down to Earth I think!
I just wanted to say thank you so much for being part of the Caterpillar Cross Stitch family during 2018. I appreciate your support so much - whether that's through buying a kit, needle minder, taking part in a Stitch-a-Long or simply watching a YouTube video or joining the Facebook group.
You can imagine how excited I was this week to learn that both myself and Caterpillar Cross Stitch had been shortlisted in three separate categories for the British Craft Awards 2019 - Cross Stitch Designer, Cross Stitch Brand and Cross Stitch Retailer!
I drove many, many miles down to Syon Park to attend the 'Congregation of Inspiration.' The coloured boardwalk, inspirational signs up everywhere and THAT balloon arch of dreams.
