As we start our fresh new year, I wanted to take a moment to look back on 2019 and thank you all for your continued support. It really means the world to me and I love creating projects that create joy!
STITCH-A-LONGS
2019 saw the launch of Stitch-a-Longs, Seas the Day, Hello Pumpkin and Deck the Halls. I know for many of you, one of the above was your first ever Stitch-a-Long so thank you for making it one of mine!
GIVING BACK
We've donated hundreds of pounds to charities close to my heart, Cancer Research UK and Mind, the mental health charity through the sales of needle minders 'Brave and Strong' and 'You Are Enough.'
At the beginning of 2019 one of the coolest things ever happened, with Caterpillar Cross Stitch scooping 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize at the British Craft Awards for Stitch Designer, Stitch Brand and Stitch Retailer of the Year so thank you to everyone who voted.
CROSS STITCH EVENTS
24 of you joined us at the first ever Stitching Social events which I loved every second of. Thank you for making the journey over to Kenilworth and coping with the floods! There will be many more in 2020 so please let me know in the survey below what you'd like to see!
CROSS STITCH FACEBOOK GROUP
Over 7,500 of you joined us on Facebook and nearly 5,000 in the dedicated Facebook group alone. We also reached a huge milestone on Instagram of 10,000 followers - thank everyone who comments, likes and messages me on social media, its so lovely to connect with you all in this way.
This year, I've also launched the Stitched Together project for which I've received hundreds of contributions so far. They'll all be properly stitched together at the start of 2020 so watch this space!
WHAT'S COMING THIS YEAR
2020 will see the launch of Love It Stitch It, a range of cross stitch kits for children I've been working on for some time now, a whole host of new kits and patterns, 3 new Stitch-a-Longs, more Stitching Social events and plenty of new accessories including needle minders and improved project bags!
