Welcome to the Caterpillar Cross Stitch 'Stitcher of the Month' competition for December 2023 where the winner will win a £20 gift voucher! Our proudest achievement is the friendly, positive community we have built together, and this is a fantastic way to honour one special stitcher each month.
We value every member of our community so highly, and this exciting, monthly giveaway is a way of recognising and celebrating your creativity and contributions.
To enter, simply email us at support@caterpillarcrossstitch.com (with Stitcher of the Month in the subject line) with your full name, location and include:
1. 3 x high resolution photos of some recent stitching (any design or brand)
2. 1 x clear, well lit, high resolution photo of yourself or the nominee
3. Let us hear about your personality, background and experience with stitching including a tip for beginners (300 words minimum please)
4. Your favourite piece, how you started stitching and why you love it!
The winner will receive a £20 Caterpillar Cross Stitch gift voucher and have their work shared on social media, our website and in the next email! At the end of each month, the Caterpillar Cross Stitch team will pick one winner based on the set criteria: creativity, interesting story, enjoyment and passion for cross stitch and overall impression. The winner will be contacted by email and will be interviewed for our blog and social media channels.

Caroline says:
My name is Caroline, and I first started stitching when I was in school. I didn’t do anymore until I was in my mid-thirties, married with twins, and a stay at home mum! This was until the twins started school and I started back at work.
When we moved house about 9 years ago I discovered Caterpillar Cross Stitch (more or less at the bottom of my home lane!) and I haven’t looked back. I love Caterpillar Cross Stitch, the Historical Sampler Company and Stitchrovia.
I’m a sucker for a nice pattern, and I have a study full of projects waiting to be stitched. I love to hang up completed patterns and often gift specific ones to friends as birthday or Christmas presents.
My favourite colour is red (any hue), and my least favourite colour is pink! I often change pink threads to a hue I like, and often change colours if I find them too pale.
I will have to live until aged 100+ to finish the projects I have accumulated over the years! I find it easy to start new projects, but occasionally have to make myself finish one before starting anything new.
I love stitching and find it so relaxing, satisfying, and rewarding. I'm now starting to get ready for Christmas with lots of baking and cross stitching. Onwards and upwards!
