FREE VINTAGE 'EARLY BIRD' CROSS STITCH PATTERN

January 14, 2016 2 Comments

I thought I'd break away from the alphabet-related theme for a moment and design this little chap I've called "Early Bird". I don't tend to design a great deal of animal/nature style patterns (although watch out for our next cross stitch kit which does include a rather wise owl) but I really enjoyed putting these DMC shades together and adding the cherry blossom as a finishing touch. I love his chubby little tummy and bright beak.

"Early Bird" is now available as a FREE pattern to any newsletter subscribers. You can add your email in the box in the footer on the website or in any pop up box and the link will be provided to you.

I'd love to see the pictures of your finished "Early Bird" and any different colour combinations you've used!

Happy stitching!

I can't believe how things have changed. No more backstitching (or very little), they used to recommend that you wash your project in a gentle soap and press it dry. Don't hear of that anymore either . . . several other little things, but things tend to move forward and I sure love what I have started up again!
