If you choose one of our digital PDF patterns, you’ll receive it instantly! As soon as your order is complete, you will receive an email titled 'Your downloads are ready' with the download link. You can then save your file(s) to your computer, tablet, or phone to use digitally (perfect for zooming in on those details!) or print it out at home whenever you’re ready to start.
For our Stitch-a-Long (SAL) or Crochet-a-Long (CAL) participants, the process is a little different, because the design is a surprise, you will receive a welcome letter via email upon placing your order which contains all of the key information. We will then email the pattern to you in sections according to the project's specific schedule.
Yes! Many of our customers are first-time stitchers. Our kits include simple, step-by-step instructions, and you’ll have access to our friendly community if you ever need extra support.
We also have a specific "Beginner Kits" category. These designs typically fit in a 6 or 7inch hoop and use fewer colours, making them perfect for your first project.
It depends on the size of the design and how much time you spend stitching, but most kits take anywhere from a few evenings to a couple of weeks. We always try to balance detail with enjoyment.

I purchased 3 PDF patterns and all 3 were exactly what I expected. My only disappointment was that there was not a cover photo of the finished design. I make myself a laminated tag for my project bag and a cabochon to go on my floss drops using the cover design. I also print the cover with the pattern to store in my files. However this has not detracted from the beauty of the patterns in any way and I certainly expect to purchase more in the future.
