Join our Holly Jolly Kitchen SAL and learn from fellow stitchers in our dedicated Facebook group. Stitch at your own pace, with the added encouragement of other crafty individuals, where you’ll share progress photos, tips and fun stitchy experiences. Share the joy of completing a craft project with other stitchers. Doesn’t that sound fun?

WHAT IS THE HOLLY JOLLY KITCHEN STITCH-A-LONG?

Time to get baking! Enjoy your favourite festive treats and other Christmassy motifs and kitchen accessories.

Thinking of ordering a full kit? You will have the option of 14 or 18 count aida (we recommend 14 count for beginners), or 28 count evenweave. The full kit contains all of the pre-sorted supplies needed to create this fun needlework project - including more floss than you need for the design (just in case of any happy accidents). In the unlikely scenario that you run out, we'll send additional thread free of charge.

All of the beautiful supplies are from top needlecraft brands (Zweigart and DMC) and already cut to size. This means your fabric is the right colour and size for this design (with sufficient allowance around the edge for finishing off).

All Caterpillar Cross Stitch patterns are designed with beginners in mind, including our stitch-a-longs. This means there won’t be any tricky French knots or back stitch in Holly Jolly Kitchen, just a design considered an absolute treat for first-time cross stitchers.

Considering PDF patterns only? We'll provide everything you need to know including fabric colour, size, thread lengths and colours, so that you can use items from your own stash or scroll online craft makers and order the supplies yourself.

HOW DO I GET INVOLVED?

Holly Jolly Kitchen will be spread across 3 months, starting in September and finishing in November. Simply tap here on 9th August at 5pm UK time to join and we'll take care of the rest.

You will receive your first pattern piece on 17th September at 12 midday in your email inbox, and the other pattern pieces will follow throughout October and November.

Holly Jolly Kitchen is counted cross stitch, so there's no printing on the fabric. Want to personalise the design? It’s really easy! Feel free to add some additional Christmas motifs or you could even try changing up the thread colours.

If you enjoyed stitching Stitch into Christmas, 12 Days of Christmas or Deck the Halls you are guaranteed to love Holly Jolly Kitchen. The Christmassy designs work perfectly together so why not stitch them all for some beautiful festive decorations.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF CROSS STITCH?

Did you know cross stitching is proven to improve well-being? Crafting keeps your mind and hands relaxed and stress-free, and cross stitch is often referred to as 'yoga for the mind'. Joining a SAL can be especially beneficial if you struggle with mental health challenges.

Designing, crafting and being creative has proven successful for positive mental health. By creating something that is visually appealing, in a calm space, can have a positive impact on yourself and those around you.

Not only that, but participating in a SAL is the best way to meet like-minded individuals! Working on the same project will spark conversation and friendship with other stitchers.

Cross stitch is a wonderful craft, even for those who don't consider themselves to be a creative person. It's beginner-friendly, easy to learn, and provides a well-deserved sense of self-achievement and community.

HELP US PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT

We're continuously thinking of ways we can help protect and conserve the planet - the pink outer-packaging is always plastic-free, recyclable, and reusable! Why not repurpose the pink wallet as storage for fabric supplies or keep your cross stitch design safe inside the wallet when you are not stitching?

TREAT YOURSELF!

Treat yourself to the ultimate bundle and add on the Complete Cross Stitch Planner and a couple of accessories to ease you into our brand new stitch-a-long! These extra supplies will ensure a smooth set up for the SAL and help you to keep tidy and organised when stitching!

We offer a full satisfaction and money-back guarantee because we're that certain you're going to love your goodies!
