Thank you so much for helping me build this community, teaching new stitchers and spreading the joy to all! I adore what I do and I'm so grateful for you all. I was so excited this week to find out that we had been shortlisted in a variety of categories for the Best of Craft Awards 2020!

When voting (open to UK residents only), you could WIN a weekend break for two in Scotland, a Crafter's Companion bundle worth £150 and for everyone who votes, you'll automatically receive a digital pack full of festive papers, projects and printables to get you in the Christmas spirit!

When I started this cross stitch kit business in 2015, I could only dream of being included in a shortlist alongside some of my favourite inspirational craft brands.

So you can imagine how excited I was this week to learn that both myself and Caterpillar Cross Stitch had been shortlisted in seven separate categories for the Best of Craft Awards 2020!

It would mean so much to me if you could please take a moment to vote by clicking HERE. The categories we have been shortlisted in are:

Best Online Store
Best Rated Customer Service
Ultimate Gadget (Needle Minders)
Most Inspiring Blog
Best Workshop/Online Class
Designer of the Year (Sally Wilson)
Crafting Woman of the Year (Sally Wilson)

Voting closes on 9th October and the winners will be announced at the beginning of December. It hasn't been confirmed yet if this will be via the magazine, online or at an in person awards event. I'll keep you posted! Check out the full video by clicking the image below.

Wow, what a year. As I sit here on Christmas Eve Eve writing this from our offices in Coventry with orders still going out the door, feeling uplifted, proud, excited but also exhausted and overwhelmed for what 2020 has thrown at us.

I remember going to craft fairs where my mom bought beautiful handmade bits that filled our home and she occasionally sold pieces she had made herself. Like on the top of a mason jar filled with baking ingredients or a piece finished in a hoop with fabric around the border.
