WHAT IS A STITCHING SOCIAL?
Our biggest achievement is the wonderful cross stitch community we have built over the years! These events feel like a celebration of that - the socials are a really positive environment, perfect for those just starting out in their stitching journey and a fantastic way for more advanced stitchers to meet like-minded people and make new friends.
Each event is hosted by a cross stitch expert, online via Zoom. There's a maximum of 12 people in each group and it lasts for a total of 2 hours, allowing plenty of time for everyone to ask their host any burning questions.
This is a lovely way to spend time stitching with others and show off your hard-work to people who understand the time and effort that has been poured into each piece. Your dedicated host will share the basics of cross stitching, offer their top stitchy tips and tricks, host a fun, on-theme quiz and there's a surprise giveaway too!
These socials are fantastic value for money. For just £42.90 you'll receive full access to the 2 hour event, a full beginner-friendly cross stitch kit, a needle minder, a sweet treat and a 20% off discount code that's valid for 24 hours on the day of your event.
HOW DO I JOIN A CROSS STITCH CLASS?
We organise 3 Stitching Social events (each event has multiple dates) per year, and a brand new pattern is designed for each. We've hosted so many of these events - we really are experts at it now. The November events always have a Christmas themed kit!
Previous themes include the adorable Piece of Cake bakery, the magical Jingle Bell Toy Emporium, the pretty Mulberry Cottage and the woodland Cedar Lodge!
Our next events will take place throughout November. This time around we're super excited to be hosting Crackling Fireplace, an adorable Christmas design!
Included in the ticket price is a full kit containing everything you need to create a beautiful, cross stitched piece of art - a colour printed pattern, easy to follow instructions, Zweigart fabric, a DMC needle and pre-sorted threads.
You'll also receive a beautiful Stitching Social stork-shaped needle minder. If you have previously attended a social and already have one, we'll happily allow you to choose any other Caterpillar Cross Stitch needle minder instead - simply remember to leave us a cart note letting us know which one you'd like!
WHAT CAN I EXPECT AT A CROSS STITCH EVENT?

We ship worldwide, meaning we open these events to everyone and you can join in from anywhere across the globe! To participate you just need a computer/laptop (or borrow one from a friend/family member) and a stable Internet connection.
Remember to check your schedule before booking - due to the limited numbers we're unfortunately unable to change your date once your booking has been confirmed.
