TRAVEL WORLD MAP CROSS STITCH!

July 03, 2018

When I was 21 I got the travelling bug. Bored at university and with long Summer holidays usually wasted at home, I decided to jet off with 15 strangers to Vancouver for 3 months with BUNAC. From there, my explorations continued with trips to Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, a long road trip from Yosemite to San Diego and a 6 month work placement in Sydney.

I love our amazing world, the countries and culture I wish I had even more experiences of. My hope is that I get to visit as much of our globe as I can, while I can. Our next trip will be Switzerland early 2019.

And, this all leads me on to our latest Stitch-a-Long of course! Adventure Awaits is a 6 month project where one small pattern piece (or should I say country or continent) is emailed or posted out once per month, ready to start stitching on 22nd of each month.

You can choose from PDF patterns only (where you source your own kit materials), hard copies only (where you are posted a professionally printed full colour pattern each month) or kit options with a variety of beautiful Zweigart fabrics in a pale aqua shade to represent the ocean.

We also have a limited edition hard enamel needle minder to compliment this SAL. It has a super strong magnet on the back to keep your needle in place, comes presented on backing card and uses the same colours as the SAL threads.

Join nearly 1.6K stitchers from all over the world in our dedicated Facebook group HERE. We share WIPs and tips daily, chat and support. The SAL started in June 2018 and runs until November. Do you love to travel? Let Adventure Awaits remind you of your most memorable trips! Click HERE to find out more.
