PERSONALISE YOUR CROSS STITCH KIT!

December 10, 2016

To make your baby cross stitch kit a little bit more special, you might want to add the child's name and birth details to your design. Most of the alphabet sampler cross stitch kits come with this option for an extra £2.

For this, you'll receive the additional DMC cotton thread needed (complementary to the colour palette you chose - pale grey, dark grey or pink) along with the relevant alphabet and number chart (all shown below).

You could always think outside the box.... you don't have to stick to baby's name, date of birth and weight, you could add anything you like! Also included with your kit are full instructions on how to place your letters and numbers within your chosen cross stitch pattern.

Here's the Baby Deco (Neutral) cross stitch kit shown with baby's name and birth details added just above and below the main stitched area.

I've made the alphabet text the right size for the kits without being too small to be insignificant nor too big to fit in longer names. If you do have any problems, please let me know via emailing sally@caterpillarcrossstitch.com and I'll do my best to help! Adding these few extra details really does make all the difference to your pattern creating a unique piece to cherish!
